What it is: Bridget Jones is a single 32 year-old woman who worries about her smoking and drinking, her lovelife and her weight. With a crush on her boss, and a returned childhood friend, she finds herself chronicling her way through a potential love triangle.
Why we're showing it: Based on a novel by Helen Fielding, which itself was based on Jane Austen's romance classic Pride and Prejudice, Bridget Jone's Diary is one of the all-time great romantic comedies. Zellweger earned an Academy Award nomination for best actress, and her performance, plus the crackling chemistry with co-stars Colin Firth and Hugh Grant, carry this comedy to great heights.
